What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments while updating patient demographics
- Maintain a bump list and schedule for each division, paging MDs with hospital consults
- Obtain medical records when possible and assist with miscellaneous duties
- Make appointment reminder calls to patients with upcoming appointments
- Perform routine administrative duties such as data entry, sorting office mail, and scanning documents
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to respect and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare setting or similar administrative role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
