What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls, performing protocol-based triage and documenting notes in the EHRS
- Create template-based letters regarding lab results and ensure timely communication with patients
- Conduct daily reviews of schedules to confirm all pre-visit preparations are complete
- Contact patients at risk of "no-show" appointments and assist in scheduling and rescheduling as needed
- Assist care team in completing reports and recognizing patients in vulnerable populations for appropriate referrals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school level education or equivalency
- Medical Assistant Certification or at least 2 years of clinical experience in an inpatient, outpatient, or virtual setting
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ambulatory clinical or virtual environment
- Fluency in Spanish is required
- Demonstrated competency with an EHRS system
