What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Acquire medical records and treatment information from area hospitals and providers
- Monitor and maintain communication for the enterprise Health Information Management (HIM) department, including phones, faxes, and emails
- Manage verbal and written requests for medical information and documents, ensuring compliance with turnaround times
- Collaborate with internal departments and healthcare providers to ensure the accuracy of medical records
- Provide backup coverage for the Document Imaging Supervisor when necessary

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in medical records management or related area
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Advanced computer skills, including data entry and proficiency in Microsoft programs
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to collaborate effectively with customers
