- Responsibilities/ Job Duties:
- Manage and process medical records for Women's Health and Pediatrics (requesting and sending records).
- Answer phone calls and assist patients with inquiries.
- Register new and existing patients, book appointments, verify insurance eligibility, and update patient demographics.
- Work within Athena EHR to maintain accurate records.
- Provide front office coverage when needed.
- Training includes 3 months rotating through departments (1 month in pediatrics registration, 1 month in women's health registration, 1 month in medical records).
- Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:
- Fluent in Spanish - must be able to communicate medical terminology without translation support.
- 1-2 years of experience in medical records, patient registration, or front desk roles in a healthcare setting.
- Strong customer service skills, professionalism, and reliability.
- Experience with Athena EHR is a plus.
- Schedule/ Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
