- Managing the practice generic mailbox, this includes;
- Invoices
- Answer general queries
- Patient clinic letters scanned urgent clinic letters to GP
- Accurate typing/audio typing/electronic transmission of:
- Medical records
- Referral letters
- Medical reports
- General correspondence to patients, solicitors, other health services providers and contractors

- Deal with requests for medical reports and medical records from insurance companies and government bodies in line with agreed procedures
- Accurate and appropriate use of NHS systems and IT systems to maintain good data quality and ensure that patient and practice records are of a high standard.
- Assist in the development of systems including, for example

- Electronic processes
- Manage BACS payments, cheques and petty cash in relation to insurance reports etc monthly

Job summary
Provide an effective high quality secretarial support to the GPs and Managing Partner.
