- - Maintain patients records and update information in electronic databases ( system one).
- - Handle incoming call and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- - Process medical billing and insurance claims.
- - Prepare and organise medical reports and correspondence.
- - Assist with patient registration, scanning and coding experience would be beneficial.
- Other Adhoc Administrative duties may be required with full training given.
- -Proficient in office administration tasks, IGPR, ERS, 2WW referrals.
- - Strong organisational abilities.
- - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- - Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.

Job summary
Park Avenue Surgery is seeking a skilled experienced Medical Secretary to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to medical staff and management team ensuring efficient operation within the practice.

Main duties of the job
Helping with all secretarial work. 2 weeks referrals, ESR, IGPR, letters, access requests, insurance requests, subject access requests, QOF, tasks, emails, general reports, accurx messaging, scanning, attaching, coding. Any aspect of secretarial and administrative work.

Surgery have 2 branches. Main one is in Park Avenue and 2nd one is located ion Kings Heath. We are large surgery with over 15000 patients across both sides. We employ 34 staff members but we also work closely with BLUE PCN and employ quite few of their staff members. Surgery have 6 directors and is registered as Midland Medical Company.
