      The Medical Value and Outcomes Director serves as the medical scientific lead for population-based healthcare decision makers to facilitate scientific exchange on disease state management and the value of Sanofi vaccines, to provide insights to internal teams on key evidence gaps relevant to healthcare decision-makers, and to identify/facilitate value-based research, education, and other collaborations. This position represents the Sanofi vaccine portfolio serving as the medical lead for assigned national and regional accounts and maintains relationships with key decision makers in assigned accounts.

      Main responsibilities

      • Maintain scientific partnerships with key decision-makers and opinion leaders within assigned accounts

      • Lead development and execution of medical account plans for assigned accounts in alignment with current Sanofi Vaccine medical strategies and tactics

      • Collect and share customer insights and evidence gaps that help to inform and advance medical strategies, product portfolio development, customer engagement, and research priorities

      • Attend and participate as appropriate in corporate and scientific conferences. Provide input and serve as leads as appropriate

      • Work cross-functionally with Account Director teams and other Sanofi MVO teams when needed and as appropriate, to coordinate engagement of and response to customers’ medical/scientific needs

      • Provide support to the field medical team for the development and delivery of tools, resources, materials and training (e.g., product dossier, economic models, slide kits, articles, review summaries, etc.)

      • Participate in internal cross-functional teams to provide input on evidence needs, educational opportunities, and resources

      About you

      • Education : Advanced degree required; Doctoral degree - MD, PharmD; strongly preferred; MBA or additional degree in health economics, health outcomes, public health or health policy

      • Experience :

        • Managed care experience or formulary decision making experience preferred (e.g., experience as medical/clinical executive within managed healthcare organization, hospital or similar experience within the pharmaceutical industry)

        • Clinical and/or pharmaceutical industry experience in specialty therapeutic fields strongly preferred (e.g., infectious disease, vaccinology, immunology)

      • Languages: Proficient in English

      The salary range for this position is $147,131.25 - 196,175.00 to $245,218.75. In addition to sales incentive (role may my eligible for long term incentive depending on level and performance); all compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.       This position is eligible for a company car through the Company’s FLEET program.

      Candidates must complete all fleet safety training and must maintain an acceptable driving record regarding accidents and incidents.
