What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review medication authorizations submitted by clients and perform necessary actions based on patient needs
- Conduct benefits investigations to determine patient coverage and out-of-pocket costs
- Identify and communicate patient assistance programs and financial resources to patients
- Document services provided accurately in both client EMR systems and Visante systems
- Collaborate with team members and clients to enhance clinical workflows and operational efficiency

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of pharmacy experience in healthcare or with pharmacy providers focused on medication access
- State Board of Pharmacy Technician registration obtained within 6 months of hire
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior consulting and/or client-facing experience
- Experience with electronic medical record documentation and authorization workflows
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding
- Understanding of health insurance and pharmacy insurance benefits investigation
- Active CPhT certification through either PTCB or NHA
