- Taking charge of the maintenance, validation (in TIMS), and service of existing measurement equipment and associated methods
- Participating in New Product Introduction device projects, incorporating new components into our metrology responsibilities, and implementing new measuring methods and equipment
- Engaging in technical discussions with metrology laboratories, production sites, process experts, and the supplier network
- Ensuring a high level of compliance in all tasks, maintaining inspection readiness in a GMP-controlled environment
- Proactively staying informed and up to date in the field of metrology, actively participating in knowledge-sharing internally and externally
- Hold a bachelor’s or master degree in mechanical engineering or possess a Technician diploma in metrology
- Bring a robust technical background with applied experience in metrology within the pharmaceutical industry or a GMP-controlled environment
- Possess knowledge of Geometric Product Specification, measuring principles, uncertainty budget, statistical methods, and technical drawings
- Demonstrate in-depth expertise in specifying and implementing measuring equipment such as microscopes, CT scanners, or CMM, including validating processes and CE marking
- Showcase familiarity with plastic characteristics and metal materials
- Exhibit proficiency in both spoken and written English

The position
As Metrology Engineer, you are responsible for measuring equipment and IPC fixtures for testing plastic molded components and metal springs in our QC and IPC laboratories. Your role also involves collaborating with over 12 subcontractors globally and playing a pivotal role in cLEAN activities to maintain outstanding quality in all work processes.Some of your main tasks include:

About the department
You will join DMS Device Metrology & Quality Support, where we are approx. 100 highly motivated colleagues working in six teams. Our mission is to develop and maintain quality control and test methods for manufacturing medical devices in Novo Nordisk. We ensure high-quality components at a competitive cost for our customers through cross-departmental collaboration and a focus on quality and robust processes.Within the Metrology & Automation team, comprising 10 dedicated members, our focus is on delivering impactful results that add to the success of Novo Nordisk. We are also engaged in developing and maintaining new robot solutions to meet the growing need for automated solutions in metrology. We share a relaxed atmosphere, and we are proud to never compromise on safety or quality.
