Lead a team which is responsible for delivering advanced analytics projects, managing a PowerBI platform and delivery of client facing content through PowerBI and our own proprietary platforms

Creating all end deliverables based on applying analytical processes to agreed timelines for internal clients in a variety of regions/countries.

Responsible and accountable for your team's maintenance of Numerator's superior quality standards across critical stages of the project while adhering to key timelines and ensuring we address client objectives

Responsible for creative troubleshooting and mentoring junior team members (inside and outside of your direct team) on more complex requirements of platforms and our core capabilities

Direct people management responsibilities with a focus on training, coaching, resource assignment, and professional development

Establish strong relationships with your key day-to-day contacts and become trusted to identify and deliver against their core needs.

Develop expertise in Numerator’s panel data, advance analytics techniques , Worldpanel’s Solutions, and delivery through platforms understand what they mean to provided insight and recommendations to client(s) and help build the knowledge of your wider team.

Demonstrate expertise in the retail and shopper marketplace

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant and highly numerate subject such as statistics, data science, computer science or economics

Intermediate understanding of marketing principles – e.g. How Brands Grow, 4Ps, the role of segmentation, target and positioning
-
In depth knowledge of how statistical and machine learning procedures work (e.g. classical and ML approaches to classification, regression, dimension reduction and clustering problems)

A good understanding of software engineering and data modelling terms, principles and techniques
-
Ability to communicate appropriately with a range of audiences in different situations – for example discussing requirements with Technology teams and explaining both analytical methodologies and client implications to internal client teams.

Practical experience of applying analytical procedures to quantitative data to make end deliverables for clients

5+ years of quantitative research experience

Technical Skills: Proficiency in R and Git is essential. Knowledge of SAS, SQL, Python and Shiny are desirable.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills – fluency in English required with additional languages strongly advantageous (French, Spanish, Portuguese)

Experience working in and leading teams which operate using Agile methodologies

Hands on experience in working in the cloud (GCP, Azure, AWS) for both data science and BI/analytics tools (e.g. PowerBI)

As a Data Science Manager, you will play an integral role in delivering the highest quality analytics projects, reports and content to our clients. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of Data Scientists and Reporting Analysts, ensuring that timelines and quality measures are met on each assigned project. You will be a steward for Numerator standards and will lead internal strategic initiatives. You will lead highly complex projects applying advance analytics to answer complex business challenges, lead the deployment into our platforms, alongside managing prioritization and capacity as needed to meet client and business needs
