What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and oversee EDI transaction initiatives for HIPAA and proprietary formats
- Lead a team of analysts to develop process improvements and troubleshoot issues
- Conduct thorough reviews of data and business requirements with operational units
- Analyze and resolve escalated claim EDI issues while managing relationships with vendors
- Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures related to HIPAA compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Management, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of relevant healthcare experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid
- Experience with all HIPAA Transactions (270/271, 276/277, 835, 837 I & P, 278, 5010 837 I & P Encounters)
- Strong leadership, management, and administrative skills
- Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, MS Word, MS Visio, MS Project, Excel, MS Access, SQL
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with the IKA platform
- Familiarity with Clearinghouses, Providers, Healthcare Regulators, and workgroups like WEDI
- Knowledge of the health services industry and managed care business
- Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to mentor team members and work collaboratively
