What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide crisis support to 988 callers and respond to various crisis situations
- Offer information on available resources, including shelters and mental health services
- Employ de-escalation techniques to assist callers experiencing crises
- Document encounters and conduct follow-up calls to ensure access to services
- Collaborate with team members and maintain confidentiality in all tasks performed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a permanent resident of Michigan
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of work or volunteer experience in mental health or crisis services, or equivalent education/training
- At-home high-speed internet on a private network
- A private, HIPAA-compliant office space

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in crisis intervention or mental health support
- Additional certifications in mental health or crisis management
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Familiarity with community resources for crisis support
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
