What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide support to first responders during crisis situations
- Manage incoming calls, chats, and texts of varying crisis nature
- Offer information on resources such as shelters, food pantries, and mental health services
- Utilize de-escalation techniques to assist callers experiencing crises
- Document each encounter while engaged in calls and communicate with team members

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Permanent year-round residency in Michigan
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in mental health, substance use, and/or crisis work
- Experience as a First Responder (law enforcement officer, safety officer, paramedic, EMT, firefighter, etc.)
- Access to at-home high-speed internet on a private network and a HIPAA-compliant office space

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional experience in crisis intervention or related fields
- Familiarity with helpline applications or crisis management systems
