  Job Title: Microsoft SQL Server DBA Consultant

  Location : Atlanta, GA (Onsite from day 1)

  Duration : 12+ Months Contract

  Job Description-

  • 6-8 years of experience as a SQL DBA.

  • Installing and configuring SQL Server Versions: MS SQL 2012, MS SQL 2016 & MS SQL 2019 (Currently we are moving towards 2019)

  • SQL scripting and PowerShell

  • Database setup, Table Partitioning, replication, resource governor’s setup.

  • Experience working on AWS EC2 instances

  • SSMA (Sql Server Migration Assistant) and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)

  • Communicating with application teams for their database requirements

  • Providing best possible solution to build the database efficiently (Eg: Recommending Column store index etc.)

  • SQL server build, configuration, clustering, applying security patches

  • Work on SQL Database build.

  • Work on Database migration tasks

  • Automation of report generation by using Power shell

  • Customize SQL inbuild functionalities as per the application team database needs (Partitions, Resource Governors, custom Jobs ..etc.)
