What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft and edit budget estimate submissions and provide support for Congressional Budget Justifications
- Conduct technical reviews and provide support for all federal budget process items related to Congressional Budget Justifications
- Assist officials in preparing and drafting budget background materials for briefings and Congressional appropriations documents
- Create and edit desktop guides (SOPs) to facilitate process execution
- Develop and edit briefing slide decks using PowerPoint

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- 4-8 years of experience in writing, budget development, or financial analysis support for federal agencies and commercial industry
- Documented experience in preparing budget estimate submissions for Congressional Budget Justifications
- Proven experience in providing technical reviews of budget processes, including draft budget justifications, OMB, and Congressional inquiries
