What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Author original analytical outputs focusing on the Middle East region
- Collaborate with the Global Data Collection team to enhance regional data coverage
- Provide expert commentary and analysis for external affairs outputs
- Support the Middle East Senior Analyst with data-related tasks
- Participate in internal meetings and assist with administrative tasks as required

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in conflict analysis or related fields
- Master’s degree in Political Science, Social Sciences, Geography, Sociology, or equivalent focused on conflict studies
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Strong writing, editing, and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with the ACLED dataset and data analysis methodologies

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with international organizations, NGOs, or in journalism
- Demonstrated knowledge of politics and society in Iraq and Syria
- Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and with limited supervision
