What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with the accurate and timely processing of trades executed by the trading desk, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Maintain effective risk management controls and escalate any breaches or concerns to senior leadership
- Conduct reconciliations of trade and position data to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements
- Collaborate with the IT department to leverage technology solutions for improving operations

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in middle office, back office, or operations roles within a financial institution
- Proficiency in trade processing and settlement systems, as well as reconciliation tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards applicable to proprietary trading activities

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM)
- Experience with SQL, stored procedures, and data modeling
- Python knowledge is a plus
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming and design
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments
