What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with accurate and timely processing of trades and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Maintain effective risk management controls and monitor trading activities for adherence to risk limits
- Conduct reconciliations of trade and position data between internal systems and external counterparties
- Stay informed about regulatory changes relevant to proprietary trading operations and ensure compliance
- Collaborate with IT to leverage technology solutions for improving middle and back-office operations

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in middle office, back office, or operations roles within a financial institution
- Proficiency in trade processing and settlement systems, as well as reconciliation tools
- Strong understanding of financial markets, trading products, and risk management concepts
- Proficiency in relational databases, specifically Microsoft SQL, and experience with SQL and Python

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM)
- Experience with object-oriented programming and design
- Familiarity with technology solutions for middle and back office operations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations and prioritize multiple projects
