- Be responsible for the attainment of Division and Corporate goals for sales growth and profitability through market development, effective direction and management of the activities of direct sales staff and sales agencies.
- Responsibilities will include driving the brand awareness with Architects, Lighting Designers, Engineers, Distributors, Contractors in Midwest region.
- Work with manufacturers’ rep and Cooper counterpart to spec/sell a lighting solution.
- Work with manufacturers’ rep to surround/close specifications in assigned territory.
- Work with the National Sales Manager to establish realistic goals for the market, consistent with overall division goals of growth and profitability.
- Coordinates with manufacturer representative to promote and maintain successful and profitable business relationships with current and potential customers.
- Analyze sales levels and trends through market research and initiates pro-active or corrective actions as required to assure attainment of objectives.
- Assure that appropriate technical guidance and assistance regarding product applications is available to customer.
- Work closely with, develops, and coordinates activities with application service departments within Cooper and agency partners to develop world class specification support.
- Promote and market company strategy through customer interaction at industry groups including speaking at conventions and tradeshows.
- Serve as “Voice of the Customer” by making recommendations and supplying feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams to ensure products meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Associates Degree required, BA preferred
- 3 years sales or marketing management experience preferred
- Electrical products, Lighting or Controls industry experience preferred
- Well-developed communication, organizational, motivational and human relations skills.

What you’ll get in return…
Salary: $105,000 - 140,000.00
Bonus: Target 35% Sales Incentive bonus
