      Job summary

      Core Antenatal Services Midwife working and delivering care within maternity triage and maternity day case.

      Are you an experienced Midwife looking for an opportunity to join the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust providing maternity care to women and their families from the local population.

      We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Midwife to join our core Antenatal Service team at Royal Derby Hospital site. As part of the Maternity Transformation programme, we are implementing the Birmingham Symptom Specific Obstetric Triage System (BSOTS) within our triage unit. It is a busy outpatient department with Antenatal Services Midwives working long shifts (A or B shifts) across 7 days/24hrs.

      You will require demonstrable experience as a registered Midwife and be able to adapt to different work environments within Antenatal Services.

      Main duties of the job

      As an antenatal service midwife you will work in and deliver care within maternity triage and maternity day case.

      Duties will include working on the 24hr dedicated Triage phone line, triaging patients on arrival to triage and providing ongoing care.
