      Job summary

      An exciting opportunity exists for you to join Frimley health Foundation Trust as a clinical matron on the Frimley Park site.

      This is an opportunity for an ambitious practitioner who is ready to progress in their career. This post will require a unique and talented individual who will continue the strong clinical leadership of the outpatient services which includes antenatal clinics and diabetes services, Community Midwifery teams and safeguarding.

      Main duties of the job

      The service is seeking an experienced and dynamic midwife to join the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the Head of Midwifery and working collaboratively with a team of dedicated Clinical Midwifery Matrons across both sites.

      The post holder will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective maternity care. This includes contributing to the strategic direction of the service, supporting the implementation of national and local maternity priorities, and driving improvements in clinical practice.

      You will support workforce development, service transformation, and performance monitoring to ensure standards of care are continuously improved and maintained. Your leadership and clinical expertise will influence the development of a positive and supportive culture, promoting evidence-based practice and empowering staff to deliver excellent care.Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, you will ensure that patient experience and safety remain at the heart of all service delivery.
