MIG Welders Wanted in Brantford, ON!

Job Description

We are seeking experienced MIG Welders to join our team in Brantford, ON!. The ideal candidate will have a strong skillset in MIG welding, blueprint reading, and a dedication to maintaining high-quality welding standards. Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Perform MIG welding on various products and materials.
• Set up jigs to ensure products are squared properly.
• Conduct weld tests on the first sample and record results.
• Adjust controllers to the required heat for different types of steel and thicknesses.
• Fit parts together correctly according to drawings.
• Verify welded assemblies against drawings and place them on carts.
• Maintain the integrity of welds throughout the entire process.
• Clean welds using an acid wash.

Requirements

• 2+ years of MIG welding experience.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and weld symbols.
• Strong attendance record and positive attitude.
• Experience with power tools and inspection processes.
• Experience with fitting (jig or otherwise).

Shift & Work Environment

Afternoon Shifts, 2:00pm -10:30pm, Monday to Friday.

The facility is clean and organized, providing a great environment for professional development. Employees typically arrive at their work stations a few minutes early. A lead hand will bring them an order and explain any special instructions. Parts will already be available, and employees can start welding immediately. We provide weld helmets, but for weld tests, employees are encouraged to bring their own.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.35 - $24.35/hr.
