As a Military Benefits Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing phone support to military members, retirees, and dependents eligible for TRICARE and Medicare benefits. You will also assist with claims and billing inquiries from hospitals and clinics. Responsibilities:

- Respond to inbound phone calls from retired military beneficiaries and medical providers
- Assist retired military beneficiaries with claim questions and status inquiries
- Respond to billing agents in hospitals and clinics regarding claim payment statuses and inquiries
- Maintain accuracy in handling confidential information and records
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for callers

Requirements:

- U.S. citizenship is required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of customer service experience in health insurance, medical claims, or a call center environment

Preferred qualifications:

- 2+ years of customer service experience in health insurance or a call center environment
- Ability to learn medical and insurance terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Comfortable with navigating dual monitor screens and multiple programs simultaneously
- Strong multitasking, research, and problem-solving skills

Additional Information:

- Start Date: Monday, October 9th, 2023
- Pay: $18.00 an hour
- Shift differentials available for late and overnight shifts
- Location: Work from home 100% remote, including training
- Remote worker requirements: designated workstation, wired connection to the network, minimum 10Mbps downstream connection with at least 1Mbps upstream
