Job Title: Mixer Attendant

Job Description

Candidates will be working with a team to mix, package, sew, and palletize bags of seeds. They will rotate after each cycle of mix. One will be bagging, the other will sew, the other will put bags on the pallet in a certain arrangement. The bags are 50-75 pounds each, and some are stacked neatly between 3 feet and 6 feet high.

Responsibilities

• Mix seeds according to specific instructions.
• Package seeds into bags.
• Sew bags securely.
• Palletize bags in a specified arrangement.
• Rotate tasks with team members after each cycle.
• Ensure bags are stacked neatly and securely between 3 feet and 6 feet high.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, packaging, and warehouse environments.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Proficiency in mixing, pallet building, and machining.
• Ability to perform changeovers efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift 30-60 lbs.
• Willingness to work in a warm and dusty environment.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Openness to learning different areas and tasks within the job.

Work Environment

Warehouse and production facility. Conditions can be colder during the winter months and hotter during the summer. The environment can get dusty. The warehouse is clean, organized, and equipped with racking and seed bags.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WEST FARGO, North Dakota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
