Job Description
- Req#: J2392705
- Executes effective mold changes in support of manufacturing schedule.
- Executes mold installation following applicable Rapid Tool Change (RTC) and Safety procedures.
- Assures that all necessary secondary equipment is available, calibrated, and operational as required by set up specifications.
- Validate documentation for each mold updated including: set up procedure, mold water diagram, road map, electrical diagram, process parameters, and list of correct dryers, mold heaters, automatic inspection equipment, conveyors, robots and any special equipment required to run the mold.
- Owns & update the Job Set Up reporting current cycle time, activated cavities, and number of Operators in SAP system.
- Documents Mold Inspection and Repair Record (MIRR) using clear and detailed problem description and deliver samples to tool room personnel to correct tooling related problems.
- Must be available to support any plant based on company needs.
- Coordinates activities related to molds of plant shutdowns and start ups.
- Must be available to work during regular week, holidays and/or weekends.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information, whether internal to Jabil or customer specific.
- Understand and embrace the business and IT strategic direction.
- Adheres to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
- Complies and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
- Associate degree in a Technical Area or equivalent experience.
- Minimum three (3) years experience in a manufacturing environment in the injection molding industry or education equivalent.
- Bilingual, preferred.
