SAIC is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented MongoDB Administrator to join our team in to begin an exciting and challenging career.

This position is Hybrid Remote, employees are required to be on-site in Ashburn, VA a minimum of 3 days per week and additional days if needed to support the mission.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelors and (14) fourteen years of relevant experience; Masters degree and (12) twelve years of relevant experience; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.

Required Security Clearance:

• Must have an Active Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required).

Required Skills:

• 10 years of Unix Administration and/or RDBMS administration.
• 1 year of MongoDB Administration, either Enterprise Advanced or Community Edition.
• Good understanding of MongoDB Sharding concepts and skills to provide optimal configs.
• Experience managing Cloud resources for running MongoDB Clusters.
• Ability to write MongoDB queries including aggregates.
• Experience with various data back-up and restore methodologies.
• Understanding of MongoDB security and user management.

Desired Skills:

• Experience managing multi-cluster MongoDB environment with Ops Manager or Cloud manager.
• Experience with MongoDB Atlas.
• Experience with MongoDB tools like Relational Migrator, Cluster-to-Cluster sync etc.
• Good Understanding of Kubernetes and Operators.
• Experience with MongoDB Operator.
• RDBMS administration and ability to analyze and improve performance of SQL queries.
• Experience setting up LDAP and single sign-on for database systems.
