What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting, including loan files and credit reports
- Act as the primary contact between clients and the company, scheduling and conducting meetings for follow-up discussions
- Respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions to ensure superior customer service
- Review loan package documentation for discrepancies and report findings to the loan originator
- Manage loan files from beginning to end, ensuring thoroughness and attention to detail

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in finance or banking preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a professional office environment, preferably in an administrative or mortgage assistant role
- Understanding of various loan products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and adjustable/fixed loans
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while providing outstanding communication and customer service
- Computer proficiency required, including MS Office; familiarity with CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience as a loan officer or in underwriting
- NMLS license or training (not required but preferred)
