- Facilitate patient flow to maintain patient schedules by getting patients ready for their exam (may assist patients in dressing/undressing, positioning patients, and starting/removing IVs).
- Work independently and steadily to ensure even flow of patients without delay or interruption. Inform patients and family of any delays.
- Fulfill organizational responsibilities as assigned, which may include setting up instruments and equipment according to department protocol; cleaning exam/procedure rooms, instruments, and equipment between patient visits to maintain infection control.
- Understand and practice MRI safety.
- Complete exams in RIS with the appropriate clinical data for radiologist interpretation, which also includes image labeling in PACS and monitoring of the exam status.
- Travel to multiple locations within the Palm Coast and St. Augustine areas as required for patient exams and/or procedures.
- MRTA certification required.
- BLS certification required, ACLS certification a plus.
- A minimum of one (1) year related experience.
- Radiology experience preferred.
- Med Tech experience preferred.
- MRTA experience preferred.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Customer service skills a must.
- Valid driver's license is required
- Ability to travel

As an MRI Technologist Assistant , you will assist the Remote MRI Technologist in performing imaging services to patients. The MRI Technologist Assistant (MRTA) is responsible for ensuring that the delivery of the high standards of patient care mandated by the organization and accrediting bodies are met in the provision of services and in the interaction with patients, families, physicians, and other personnel. The MRTA acts as a liaison among Team Members, Remote Technologist, and Operations Management.
