- Priority for this role is to define plans for the technology qualification of the NVM technology elements, drive the execution of the required experiments from initial assessment to final qualification, and evaluate and report the results.
- Planning of the required reliability testing and technology qualification infrastructure.
- Coordination with the testing technology for test and stress programs such as HTOL and endurance tests.
- Arranging and evaluating the analysis of physical faults.
- Supporting our customers with technical expertise.
- Working in a global reliability team to share knowledge about NVM reliability.
- Provide IP team with reliability ratings for 3rd party IP.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
- Education – B.S. degree with focus on semiconductor technologies, electrical engineering, physics, materials science, or related fields is required.
- Experience - Minimum 3 years in semiconductor technology or related field
- Good IT skills with Office software.
- Good knowledge and experience in methods of physical error analysis.
- Experience and application of statistical methods and statistical analysis software.
- Experience working in cross-functional and international teams.
- Very good presentation skills.
- Travel - Up to 15%, temporary visits to Fab1 in Dresden, Germany.
- Fluency in English language – written & verbal.
- Education - M.S. or Ph.D. degree with focus on semiconductor technologies, electrical engineering, physics, materials science, or related fields is required.
- Experience - Minimum 5 years in semiconductor technology or related field
- Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.

Summary of Role:As a member of the Fab 8 Reliability Engineering Team in Malta, NY, you will work on technology R&D and reliability qualifications of the NVM part of technologies (such as MRAM, RRAM, Flash and other advanced memory solutions). In this role you will work closely with interdisciplinary local and global teams to provide on-time, competitive technologies for advanced products.

Expected Salary Range
$70,700.00 - $158,600.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
