Responsibilities:
- Execute the casting, contracting, and maintaining of all live music performers/artists within the Musician Department talent roster
- Coordinate and execute worldwide recruitment advertising efforts, including online recruitment and in-person audition events
- Negotiate contracts for new and returning performers and determine talent rotations and placement
- Design and execute advertising through major publications and localized websites, as well as utilize social media platforms for recruitment
- Review talent submissions from agents and the entertainment website and maintain relationships with talent agencies
- Contract audition resources/staffing, coordinate travel and accommodations, and monitor shoreside rehearsals
- Conduct ship visits to ensure quality control and plan and execute recruitment activities within budget
Requirements:
- 5 years of work experience in the cruise or live music industry, preferably in recruitment/scheduling or at a talent agency
- Minimum 5 years' work experience in the cruise/live music industry as a performer/musical director
- Minimum 5 years' experience in musician recruitment/scheduling or at a talent agency
- Minimum 2 years' experience conducting auditions and developing recruitment strategies
- Minimum 2 years' experience in managing audition and travel budgets
- Proven understanding of live music/theatrical/touring performance requirements
- Marketing/advertising experience and developed relationships with talent agencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other web-based applications
- Ability to create and deliver presentations with effective written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of recruitment or ATS platforms and other casting/recruitment resources
- Proven people management skill set and experience in casting and cast management
- Effective budget creation and management experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
