What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collect, review, and manage political violence and protest data for Myanmar
- Code events to provide comprehensive coverage of current political violence scenarios
- Ensure quality, consistency, and reliability of data produced
- Undergo extensive training and perform tasks at the required level
- Work with conflict-related media and read about violent events

What is Required (Qualifications):
- University degree in conflict studies, peacebuilding, international development, or related field
- Familiarity with Excel
- Fluency in English and Burmese
- Working knowledge of another Asian language (preferred): Korean, Thai, Chinese
- Experience conducting desk-based research

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Research focus or professional experience in conflict research or peace-building in East Asia
- Familiarity with conflict and actors in relevant countries
- Access to a computer, reliable internet connection, email, and Microsoft Office Suite
