      Overview:

      The National Account Manager champions PeopleReady’s position as a leading provider of staffing solutions across all major industries. This position is charged to plan and execute the account management and sales strategies to increase market share and profit margins in maintaining and growing our strong position in the marketplace. The National Account Manager will lead account strategies and retention of national accounts; thereby, driving market share and revenue. The National Account Manager acts as a single point of accountability for strategic solutions of assigned national accounts.

      Responsibilities:

      • Act as the main point of contact for a set book of national accounts leading the sales effort, determining the sales strategy, and coordinating with the necessary resources to execute the strategy
      • Collaborates with field, sales, and corporate leaders in developing account management/sales strategies designed to sustain and grow relationships and revenue
      • Oversee sales and service requirements for the assigned accounts and regularly monitor our technology tools to implement to ensure retention and sales are maximized and service levels are maintained according to the established key performance indicators
      • Develop, and execute Strategic Account Sales Plans with the goal of driving sustainable and profitable business growth
      • Conduct contract reviews, make recommendations and negotiate for effective language and terms for client and PeopleReady
      • Accountable for expanding revenues for assigned account groups, conduct quarterly reviews, review account management and sales plans to grow existing account business through targeting account retention and sales penetration within assigned accounts
      • Understand key success drivers for each customer and deliver a solution that meets/exceeds customer needs
      • Develop relationships with key buying influencers or decision makers throughout the organization. Own pricing strategy, including determining the appropriate pay rate, where applicable, to hire and retain workers
      • Drive gross margin within guidelines established by SVP, Sales and VP, Strategic Accounts
      • Strong communications skills and a collaborative mentality with our field and corporate internal teams are a must

      Qualifications:

      • At least five years’ related experience selling to senior level customers with at least three years in account management and strategic sales of major accounts; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
      • Prior experience in the staffing industry preferred
      • Vision, strategic planning and awareness, project management skills
      • Strong record of sales and large account retention and growth
      • Success in delivering results through sales and field teams
      • Efficiently plans, organizes and streamlines processes
      • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, and ability to persuade an audience.
      • Ability to market and sell the company’s value proposition
      • Possess effective interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to all levels of management and employees
      • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions and percentages
      • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and make decisions
      • Ability to read and interpret documents such as resumes, contracts, pricing proformas, and procedure manuals
      • Expert in Excel. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
      • Ability to travel a minimum of 30% of the time
      • Valid driver’s license

      Salary Range: $78,500 - $94,250 annually, depending on experience and geographic location.
