What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Generate conference business through personal visits and direct telephone sales
- Book meetings, conferences, and social events from assigned market areas
- Maintain and rework old account files while soliciting new accounts
- Conduct site inspections and maintain constant communication with corporate planners
- Stay updated on industry trends and collaborate with resort departments for seamless operations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in group sales at a resort with at least 200+ rooms and over 10,000 sq. ft. of meeting space
- High school diploma or equivalent; minimum of 2 years of college is desirable
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in high-pressure customer situations
- Must be organized, maintain a professional appearance, and be available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

- Experience in hotel sales or related industry
- Aggressive, outgoing, and self-motivated personality
- Familiarity with computer programs such as Word and Excel
- Ability to document customer arrangements accurately and in a timely manner
