      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide high-level support and strategic thinking for projects addressing environmental concerns related to renewable and traditional energy, as well as linear infrastructure
      - Perform due diligence and permitting for energy projects, including writing NEPA documents and mitigation plans
      - Support project development, compliance strategy, and represent clients in negotiations with regulatory agencies
      - Attend and present at conferences and networking events to promote the employer within the industry
      - Manage projects and ensure high technical competence in work products

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - BS or higher degree in environmental science/policy, natural resources planning, biology, ecology, geography, or a closely related discipline
      - 10+ years of experience working with public and/or commercial clients
      - Strong technical leadership with established stakeholder relationships
      - Excellent oral and written communication skills
      - Experience with environmental permitting related to wildlife, bats, and/or avifauna

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Preferred experience in regions such as Hawaii, Pacific Northwest, Midwest, and Southeast
      - Applied knowledge of ecological assessment, environmental impact analysis, and habitat conservation planning
      - Experience with NEPA-compliant documentation and ESA requirements
      - Demonstrated success in regulatory negotiations at the federal and state levels
      - Project management experience with a focus on client sector and project scale
