      What this opportunity involves:

      A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Transaction Management professional to join us to be our National Transaction Manager.

      You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of government entities. You will drive the efficient and consistent delivery of property management across the national portfolio ensuring activities and deliverables meet contractual and performance obligations.

      This role can be based in our JLL’s office in Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane CBD.

      An overview of the role:

      • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of remotely dispersed Transaction Managers and Assistant Transaction Managers. Foster a collaborative environment and provide guidance to ensure their success.
      • Lease Transactions: Plan and implement complex lease transactions, including negotiations, new leases, options, and market rent reviews. Ensure the best outcomes for our clients while considering the Client’s leasing strategy.
      • Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of the Commonwealth of Australia's property portfolio, which includes diverse assets such as commercial offices, specialist sites, and housing. Proactively manage agreements, facilitate make-good requirements, triage portfolio escalations, and mitigate risks.
      • Reporting and Compliance: Maintain accurate records, produce monthly reports, review critical dates, and ensure lease event actions are timely and in compliance with contractual obligations. Liaise with the strategic Property Advisor and Finance to align property transactions with the Client’s leasing strategy
      • Leadership and Team Development: Demonstrate quality leadership by effectively communicating, building relationships, and developing leadership skills. Provide guidance and support to your team, ensure value for money outcomes, and foster a culture of excellence.

      • You must be an Australian Citizen in order to comply with our client’s requirement with the ability to successfully gain and retain AGSVA clearance and/or any additional associate Entity Clearances
      • Minimum 5 years of experience in property transactions and associated services.
      • Tertiary qualification in Property/Real Estate or equivalent is preferred.
      • Current Real Estate License or Certificate of Registration.
      • Proficiency in writing concise business cases and planning documentation.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
      • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
