      The Leidos Digital Modernization Group has an opening for a Network Engineering Manager on the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) End User Support Services (EUS) contract. In this role you will join a team of seasoned professionals focused on providing End User Networking and Performance Analysis Support Service to our customers across the United States.

      This position provides a tremendous opportunity for growth and leadership in a customer-facing, fast-paced, and challenging environment. This role is focused on day-to-day and strategic operations for Headquarters, Data Centers. Regional offices, and various satellite offices.The ideal candidate will function as the Network Engineering Manager as part of the End User Services contract supporting the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

      The Network Manager will provide advice and operational oversight of the implementation and day to day operations of HUD’s enterprise network and will advise the Network Branch Chief on network and security requirements, integrations, test evaluations, operational health of the network and recommendations for enhancements and upgrades. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day operations and administration performed by network personnel. The Network Manager will monitor network status and capabilities, inform HUD management of changes in operational status/capability and work with HUD Management and other operational entities to maintain and/or restore services. This individual will have expertise in network solutions including but not limited to routers, switches, firewalls, hardware and software VPN solutions, data and voice solutions.

      Specifically, in this role you will be responsible for directing installations, administration, maintenance and documenting, utilizing the following products and tools:

      • Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure)

      • Cisco Firepower Management Center

      • Cisco Routers, Switches and Firewalls

      • Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine)

      • Ixia Vision E10S packet broker appliance

      • Plixer Scrutinizer NetFlow Analyzer

      • Riverbed Steel Central Packet Analyzer Plus

      • SolarWinds Orion NPM (Network Performance Monitor)

      • Wireshark packet capture and analysis

      • Documentation of standard IT processes and procedures

      • Identification, research, and documentation of networking technologies beneficial to HUD

      • Implementation and maintenance of compliance policies across the environment

      • Additional tools, services and technologies as directed by Manager or Program Office

      • Management and optimization of ForeScout

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in a Computer related field and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or a Master’s degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience

      • .Extensive Network, Cloud and Security knowledge.

      • Significant VPN/IPsec, Zero Trust experience

      • Experience with Video Teleconference and Webcast systems

      • Extensive experience with Visio or other networking diagram tools.

      • Extensive experience with Network performance monitoring and modeling

      • Linux experience

      • Management and delivery of procedures, policies, work instructions and customer data calls.

      • Management of IP/DHCP/DNS technologies

      • Exceptional oral and written communication skills

      • The ability to develop and integrate solutions to address complex problems

      • The ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

      • Experience managing Leidos and Contractor support staff.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Cisco, Security, or Cloud certifications (CCNA, CCDE, CISSP, AWS, Azure)

      • Experience with Software-Defined Wide Area Networking

      • Exposure to Network Orchestration tools and methodologies

      • Experience implementing and securing Cloud environments.

      • ITIL exposure or certification

      • ServiceNow experience

      Pay Range:

      Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
