      The Division

      Stryker’s Neurovascular division is focused on advancing the practice of less invasive stroke therapies through its Complete Stroke Care solutions. The business is dedicated to providing innovative stroke products and services for ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, and committed to providing clinical education and support to help physicians deliver better patient outcomes. Products include: stent retrievers, detachable coils, stents, balloons, guidewires and microcatheters.

      What you will do:
      Promote and sell a portfolio of technical and/or nontechnical products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new end customers. Informs customers of new product/service introductions and prices. Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.

      This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. This position requires professional mastery of a specialized field of expertise that typically requires a college degree or equivalent.

      The job requires professional knowledge gained through substantial applicable work experience, to supplement formal knowledge, in order to apply principles and concepts of own subject/technical discipline in resolving issues as they arrive. The job requires good analytical skills as well as evaluative judgement based on the analysis of factual and qualitative information in complicated or novel situations. This job requires a degree and a minimum of 6 or more years experience.

      • Implements and executes the launch strategies developed by the Sales and Marketing organization.
      • Executes the launch plan by providing product introductions/overviews and in-services for customers and establishes a sales base during the commercialization of products.
      • Completes a thorough analysis of the territory and identifies key target accounts. Generates and follow-up on sales leads.
      • Recommends changes in Stryker’s platform technology, services, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments in order to expand the Company’s business.
      • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, existing and new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
      • On a daily basis, builds relationships with multiple customers within an account, and keeps them informed of new products, supply/inventory, and pricing trends.
      • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
      • Supports market development efforts to increase the number of patients available to receive our treatment.
      • Supports Marketing in the development of education programs for physicians and other health professionals involved in the use of Company products in order to accelerate the adoption rates of the new techniques and products which Stryker offers.
      • Participates in professional society meetings/trade shows, which promote Stryker’s products.
      • Supports activities related to driving enrollment in our Clinical Trials.
      • Maintains and increases professional and technical knowledge by on-the-job training, attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
      • Responsible for the storage, handling and traceability of rep stock inventory.
      • Ensures appropriate communication processes are established within and across functional groups. Communicates information related to quality management system effectiveness.
      • Works in accordance with quality system procedures.
