Must have an Undergraduate Commerce or Business Degree acquired by May 31, 2024, and completed within the last 2 years (2022, 2023 or 2024).
Preference for Energy & Professional Land Management concentration or similar degree programs.
Interest in pursuing a career in oil and gas in land management.
Access to New Grad Program Committees including Learning & Development, Networking & Engagement, Buddy Program, Brown Bag, and the Social Committee.
Various support from direct leaders, program leads, ambassadors and more.
Minimum of 3 rotations to build a breadth of development and business acumen in future leaders and technical experts.
Learning paths comprising of technical and business/professional courses.

About this opportunity
Cenovus’s New Grad Program aims to attract, develop and retain exceptional new grads to build a top talent pipeline for the company . The program provides new grads with a broad understanding of Cenovus’s core business through challenging work assignments, training and development, field exposure and the opportunity to develop a large network of contacts through networking and mentorship opportunities.
The successful candidate will gain experience through various rotational assignments within Cenovus’ Land team including Mineral Negotiations, Acquisitions & Divestitures, Surface Land, and Mineral Lease & Contracts. The New Grad training program is intended to provide a solid understanding of the various facets of land to prepare you for a potential career in Mineral Negotiations.
Upon completion of the three-year program, you will be matched to a permanent role within the organization. This role will be dependent on business need and relocation may be required.
As a New Grad in Land, you will get exposure to a broad range of business units, asset teams, and senior leadership to encourage a fulsome learning environment and creation of your professional networks!
