QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training and Experience
To join our team, you will need:
Eligible for provisional licensure or current and active registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant or a practicing RPN registrant.
Recognized post-basic education required for some clinical areas, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic Life Support, Level C required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required for some clinical settings (e.g. Emergency Room).
Skills and Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to organize assigned workload and set priorities. Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts, including co-workers, physicians, community agency representatives, patients, residents and families. Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
