We are looking for Newly Qualified Social Workers who are committed to ensuring that all children have the best start in life and are safe from harm, happy and learning well.

We offer an ASYE programme that is hosted by the Practice Development Hub which has been nationally recognised as an example of good practice. When you join Walsall, you will have:

• A two-week induction which will introduce you to our practice framework, the ASYE programme, and start your training in key areas
• A transition to join your team, where you will commence the ASYE programme supported by your Team Manager, a Senior Practitioner and the Practice Development Hub
• Allocation of families will gradually increase in complexity and volume over the course of your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment
• Set training and practice development sessions, as well as study days so you have protected time for your learning.
