What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor all devices, platforms, and services within a network environment to ensure optimal performance
- Manage NOC team shift coverage to maintain efficient operations
- Provide direction, training, and leadership to NOC staff, ensuring adherence to documented policies and procedures
- Troubleshoot network/user problems and propose resolutions for implementation
- Prepare various network resource reports and assist with service-related projects as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; or two years of relevant college study
- Minimum of two years of experience in a computer-related field with advanced knowledge of network operating systems
- At least one year of experience in data communications engineering, network administration, or computer systems management
- Familiarity with SNMP and RMON based software products, Ethernet, FDDI, and high-speed WANs
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and handle stressful situations effectively

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching Certification
- Experience with IT Network Management and Monitoring systems (e.g., SolarWinds Orion)
- Proficiency in Command Line Interface (CLI) and SSH Client (e.g., PuTTY)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and ticketing systems (e.g., Maximo)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
