What is Required (Qualifications):
- RN or MD certification from a US school
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Clinical Documentation Specialist
- Experience working in an Academic Medical Center
- Familiarity with coding as it relates to documentation
- Recent experience using 3M CAC 360 and EPIC software

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Consistent job history in Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) with contractor experience
- Solid clinical/medical foundation, preferably with acute floor staff nursing experience
- Extensive knowledge of coding, regulatory, and compliance standards
- Strong technical and critical thinking abilities
- Current experience in an Academic Medical Center within the last 12 months
