What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and analyze clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive documentation
- Discuss medical diagnostic topics and provide feedback on clinical documentation practices
- Utilize EPIC and 3M 360 Encompass (CAC) software for documentation improvement
- Stay updated on coding, regulatory, and compliance standards related to clinical documentation

What is Required (Qualifications):
- RN or MD certification from a US school
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Clinical Documentation Specialist, with experience in an Academic Medical Center
- Familiarity with coding as it relates to documentation
- Recent experience using 3M CAC 360 and EPIC software
- Solid clinical/medical foundation, preferably with acute floor staff nursing experience

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Consistent job history in Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) with contractor experience
- Extensive knowledge of coding, regulatory, and compliance standards
- Strong technical and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to articulate and discuss pathophysiology clearly and fluently
- Recent experience in an Academic Medical Center (preferably within the last 12 months)
