      Job Purpose
      We are seeking a [6-month co-op student | summer intern] in our Boston office. This is a unique opportunity to join a talented team of professionals and support our complex and dynamic business in the achievement of our strategic plan.

      At Gordon Brothers, our global marketing team is looking for a talented design co-op who has a passion for design and a love of collaboration within a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the marketing team including corporate events, digital marketing and content teams and gain experience working collaboratively with the Senior Design Specialist as well as taking the lead on your own design projects. If you are a team player, receive feedback well and love hard work, we would love to see your portfolio.

      It is required you provide samples of your work or provide a link to your portfolio or website, and are pursuing a bachelor's degree in graphic design or similar area of study.

      Responsibilities

      • Team with Senior Design Specialist on visual design for marketing materials such as marketing collateral, emails, signage, branded items and more.

      • Source stock & in-house photography for use on social media, company-wide intranet and our website.

      • Maintain to our overall Gordon Brothers brand and style guidelines standards.

      • Joining in and contributing to team meetings and brainstorms.

      • Maintain and archive files and perform regular job file backup.

      Qualifications

      • 3.2 GPA minimum

      • Currently enrolled in university/college (junior/senior) in a related course of study

      • High interest in visual/digital design

      • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud

      • Able to manage several different projects simultaneously

      • Work efficiently, independently and with a high level of professionalism
