What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct internal audits of hospital bills to ensure minimal uncompensated patient revenues
- Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process
- Inform and educate UMMS personnel on clinical reimbursement results and practices
- Analyze audit findings to enhance billing practices and compliance
- Support the organization in maintaining high-quality patient care through effective financial oversight

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Current active RN registration with the Maryland State Board of Nursing
- Minimum of four years of professional nursing experience, with experience in a patient care setting
- At least two years of experience performing Utilization Review, Quality Assurance, or Case Management responsibilities

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a healthcare auditing or financial oversight role
- Familiarity with clinical reimbursement practices and regulations
