What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments through taking histories and performing physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat patients via telehealth appointments, managing approximately 8 patients per day
- Prescribe medications and therapies, and interpret laboratory tests and procedures
- Provide comprehensive teaching and educational support to patients and families
- Actively participate in quality improvement and research initiatives relevant to the patient population

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program or Physician Assistant program
- Current license as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Illinois, or as a Physician Assistant in Illinois
- Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by an approved national certifying body
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in telehealth or remote patient care settings
- Additional certifications in relevant areas of practice
- Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives in healthcare
- Experience mentoring graduate students or providing formal education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to advocate for patients and families
