What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting
- Collaborate with physicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize the Epic EMR system for patient documentation and management
- Participate in ongoing education and training related to acute care practices
- Adhere to all clinical policies and procedures within the Mercy Virtual Care Center
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Previous acute care experience strongly preferred
- Adult Critical Care Certification required for Nurse Practitioners
- Ability to operate on-site at the Mercy Virtual Care Center
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a multi-specialty healthcare setting
- Familiarity with the Epic EMR system
- Additional certifications in related areas of acute care
- Commitment to patient-centered care and service excellence
- Previous experience in a faith-based healthcare organization
