Job summary
New Year, New Job! We are looking for Nursing Associates to join our amazing team on Beechwood Ward at the Evington Centre in the grounds of Leicester General Hospital. This is a female physical health ward which provides sub-acute care, complex rehabilitation and palliative care. The ward is nurse led which will give you high levels of autonomy and satisfaction in delivering excellent patient care. As a Nursing Associate you would be a vital part of the team providing and monitoring care to a designated group of patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse, without direct supervision. Beechwood is one of thirteen wards which form the Trusts Inpatient Community Health Services Division. You are welcome to visit during the application process to give you an insight to the types of care delivered, our MDT working processes and how we work with our clients/service users and their families to facilitate safe discharge home. The Trust will provide secondment opportunities for Nursing Associates who wish to undertake Registered Nurse training.

Main duties of the job
To support the Registered Nurse in on-going assessment and care planning for patients in a nurse led environment.
Delivery of high-quality care.
Participating in education, development and supervision of other staff members and students.
Working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of clients/ service users and their families.
