What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the development and maintenance of School of Nursing courses
- Apply instructional design principles to create pedagogically sound learning interactions
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and Instructional Designers to develop nursing courses
- Design assessments to demonstrate achievement of course competencies
- Conduct training sessions for nursing leadership and faculty on curriculum development and assessments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of five years of experience as a nurse educator
- Knowledge of State Boards of Nursing approval requirements
- Experience with CCNE accreditation processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with NCSBN testing guidelines and expectations
- Familiarity with nursing programmatic accreditation standards
- Strong presentation skills
- Knowledge of the detailed test plan
- Previous experience with curriculum mapping and crosswalks
