      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review clinical records to ensure appropriate billing practices using critical thinking and clinical judgment
      - Conduct DRG and clinical validation reviews as part of the quality improvement process
      - Apply knowledge of ICD-10 coding principles and government billing regulations
      - Perform medical record reviews, chart audits, and analysis
      - Make clinical determinations based on coding guidelines and conventions

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Current/Active RN license required
      - Minimum of 3 years of acute care inpatient clinical experience
      - Minimum of 3 years of hospital inpatient coding experience using ICD-10 within the last 2 years
      - Demonstrated proficiency in medical record review and claims processing systems
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
      - Highly desirable certifications: CIC, COC, CPMA, CPCO
      - Working knowledge of DRG validation and regulatory requirements
      - Experience with Evidence-based care guidelines/MCG
      - Proficient in Excel and experience with Adobe Pro
